THE ESSENCE OF OUR MISSION
The IVE takes its name from the event of the Incarnation, which is “the first and fundamental mystery of Jesus Christ” (St. John Paul II). The Word of God came to the world, took a human nature and lived among us as man to save us.
Charism
WE WANT TO MAKE A NEW INCARNATION OF THE WORD IN EVERY MAN
Through the specific charism of the Institute, all its members, must work in complete docility to the Holy Spirit, and under the guidance of Mary, to enhance for Jesus Christ all that is authentically human, even in the most difficult situations.

This is nothing but the grace to work, concretely, to prolong Christ in the families, in education, in the communication media, at academic level, and in every legitimate manifestation in the life of men. It is the gift of making of every person like “a new Incarnation of the Word”, by being particularly missionaries and Marian.
We want to dedicate ourselves totally to God as our supreme Love, so that, dedicated by a new and special title to his glory, for the edification of the Church and for the salvation of the world, we may achieve the perfection of charity. Through this charity, to which we are led by the profession of the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity, and obedience, we want to be united in a special way to the Church and her mystery.
Purpose
The evangelization of culture to extend the Incarnation of the Word.
Like all institutes of consecrated life, religious as well as secular,1 we have a universal and common end – often called vocation – by which we want to follow Christ more closely under the action of the Holy Spirit.
Spirituality
We seek to be anchored in the sacrosanct mystery of the Incarnation – the mystery of the Word made flesh in the womb of the Blessed Virgin Mary
