On January 6 we celebrate the Epiphany with great joy. This feast replaced the pagan cults of the East related to the winter solstice. On this day, the Church celebrates the manifestation of Jesus as the Son of God to the Wise men who came from the East to worship him.
Before the coming of the Lord, men lived in darkness, without hope. But the Lord has come, and it is as if a great light has dawned on all and joy and peace, happiness and love have illuminated all hearts. Jesus is the light that has come to illuminate and transform all men. Happy Epiphany day, happy ‘Three Kings Day’!!
